GINNY HELD An Academic graduate of Tow-son High School, Ginny Held was a member of the Future Nurses of America Association. She was captain of. the Girl's Volleyball Team and a member of the school band, as well as a representative of the Junior Class to their Exec-utive Committee. A member of S.T.C.'s Junior College, Ginny plans to enter the nursing profes-sion after she receives her Asso-ciate in Arts Degree from Towson. Active in the Glee Club and Glen Players, Ginny is a member of her class Social Committee and Float Committee for Homecoming. She is a member of the Westminster Fellowship Committee and her in-terests lie in sports, music and sewing. If ""Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, ""Ginny is a chinch to be high in the running for this year's Homecoming Queen. MARGE MOODIE Hailing from Dundalk High School, Marge Moodie may be de-scribed as a gal-of-all-activities. She is an S.G.A. representative, a member of the Freshman Advisory Council, the Secretary of the Women's Residence Council, and a participant in many class activi-ties. This congenial brunette is known around Prettyman Hall as ""Marge, Buddy!"" When asked about her ambitions, Marge re-plied, "" . . . teaching naturally,"" and added ""travel."" She has al-ready started to fulfill the second of her desires � by traveling to Scotland and neighboring coun-tries during the past summer. After her graduation, Marge plans to go into the elementary field of education, and she prefers the fifth grade. Lucky the students who get a teacher as pretty and pleasant as Margaret Moodie! ETHEL GARDNER Hailing from St. Mary's High School in Annapolis, Maryland, Ethel Gardner hopes to return home shortly and teach in the ele-mentary grades. The people near the capital city of Maryland should be waiting for her with open arms, due to the fine record she accum-ulated in high school. Ethel was President of her year twice, in her freshman and junior years, and served as vice-president in her final term of school. Much time was also spent as Secretary of the Student Council at St. Mary's and playing Intra-mural basketball. English was definite-ly the favorite subject of this blonde from Davidsonville, Mary-land. Ethel took fifth place in the International Civitan Essay con-test and received an English award of merit. WILMA LONG A hard-working member of the Freshman Advisory Council, Wilma Long hails from Sparrows Point High School, where she graduated with a Commercial Diploma. At Sparrows Point, she served her class as treasurer for four years and was President of the school's F.T.A. Three years of her school life were spent in cheerleading and playing volleyball. Here at Towson, Wilma is an active mem-ber of the Intervarsity Commit-tee. She counts swimming and icp skating among her favorite hob-bies. Planning to teach on a Kin-dergarten or First grade level, Wilma majors in Kindergarten- Primary. Wilma says she spends half of her time here at school running back and forth to her eleven F.A.C. Advisees, and she loves every one of them like a lit-tle sister! HOMECOMING QUEEN NOMINEES SUE PROTZMAN A gal with many interests, and 48 she says, ""easy to please,"" Sue N'otzman graduated from Catons- High School in 1950, with an Academic Diploma. While at 4ehool she was active in student 4ffairs, holding the offices of Vice-President of the Junior class, �Id Secretary of the Student otIncil during her senior year. he was also found cheering the teams on during her Junior year, 48 a member of the cheerleaders. otii� years ago, Sue was a stew-titcless for the American Airlines 41ld traveled to Forth Worth, De-troit, and she got to visit New l'ork several times � on what she ails ""routine flights."" LENORA CARR Co-chairman of the Senior sec-tion of this year's yearbook, Le-nora Carr plans a future as a teacher of grade four. Miss Carr � a beautiful brunette � comes to us from a high school in the State of Virginia, where she was Vice President of the Student Government Association. She lat-er transferred to Milford Mill High School, where she was ac-tive in F.T.A. and the Glee Club. She was also a member of the Honor Society. ""None,"" as her friends call her, has been active here at Towson as an S.G.A. Rep-resentative for her class, as well as a participant in Sport Electives, specifically Bowling and Archery. None's future plans also include travel to Europe, besides teaching. She likes the new fad of hose and saratogas for college girls, and her favorite hobbies are sewing and swimming. DIANA RENSHAW One of Towson's most bright-eyed blondes, Diana Renshaw graduated from Eastern High School. At Eastern, Diana partici-pated in such activities as Student Government, year book work, school newspaper work, choir sing-ing, F.T.A. and girl's sports. Working for a B.S. Degree in Ele-mentary Education with a History major, Miss Renshaw was tempor-ary Vice President of the Fresh-man Class, during her Freshman year. She has been secretary of her class for two years, and is working on the Special Events Committee of the S.G.A. A mem-ber of last year's Homecoming Court, Diana was awarded the title of Miss Congenicaity during the past summer. A member of the Wesley Club, Diana plans to even-tually attend Columbia University in New York for a Master's de-gree. Need we mention, Diana does some occasional modeling. SHARON ROMER Sharon Romer was born in To-ledo, Ohio. In Maryland, she at-tended Northwestern High School where she was President of the Tri-Hi-Y Club and President of the Circle N. She also served her high school in Student Govern-ment work. Miss Romer was Dorm Social Chairman for her class last year and is presently serving as Dorm Social Chairman for the Women's Resident CounCil. This year she is acting as an Assistant Resident Director. Sharon worked with her class, in her Freshman year, in the asembly chorus and last year she sang with a quar-tette in the class assembly. Shar-on enjoys dabbling in art, which is just one of her many talents. She is, at present, concentrating in English and plans to enter Jun-ior High Teaching. Friends say she likes to psychoanalyze them. DIANE EDGELL A recent graduate of Eastern High School, Diane Edgell's ambi-tion is to ""teach and travel."" Ac-tive at Eastern High, Diane was a member of the Student Council and Business Manager of the East-tonian. During her stay at East-ern, she managed to become Fdi-tor of the school yearbook, Vice President of the Glee Club, Point System Chairman, F.T.A. Secre-tary and Homeroom President dur-ing her Freshman year. Major-ing in Elementary Education, Di-ane was a member of the Fresh-man Executive Council. She is as active in sports here at Towson as she was in High School. At Tow-son she participates in Hockey, and at Eastern she played Hockey, Volleyball and Basketball. A mem-ber of the Glee Club and Wesley Club, Miss Edgell is interested in dancing, singing, swimming � and she even plays the piano! "
