Pack Ecstasy, marijuana, packing materials and $1,200 found during raid of student's room Mike Morris The Towerlight A resident student was arrested in his dorm room Thursday after receiving a package containing the drug Ecstasy in the mail. The drug was shipped from Denmark to his address at the University Union Post Office. Towson University Police Department officers followed Kevin Michael Pack, an 18-year old fresh-man student, last Thursday morn-ing after he picked up the package and proceeded back to his Tower A room. Pack was arrested after the execution of a search and seizure warrant in his triple occupancy dorm. Approximately 450 pills of MDMA, common-ly referred to as Ecstasy, were recovered in the course of the investigation, in addition to a small quantity of marijuana, packing Thursday morning in his Tower A dorm received a package sent from Denmark materials, an electronic scale and $1,200 in cash. According to students on the 15th floor in Tower A, where Pack lived, about 15 police officers entered his room and ""trashed"" the residence. They said officers confis-cated Pack's com-puter, unhinged closet doors and emptied a refrigera-tor full of beer. Eyewitnesses said police grilled Pack for several hours in a nearby study lounge. Pack, who is from New York, was charged with one count of ""pos- ""With so many new and designer drugs being in fad, people get caught up in taking them and are not aware of the ramifications."" On the evening of the arrest, Pack was taken before a Court Commissioner, who set bail at $100,000. Pack was then transport-ed to the Baltimore County Detention Center, where he spent the night. The next day, during a bail review, a judge of the District Court of Maryland reduced bail to $10,000. Pack posted the money and was released from custody.
