The party was held at a home where several members of the Sigma Pi fraternity reside. Most, if not all, of the men who were detained are members of Sigma Pi fraternity, and the 14 women who were detained were all members of the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority. The presidents of both Greek organizations stressed that the party was not sanctioned, sponsored or funded by their groups. The party took place the night before the Homecoming football game. Sigma Pi and Zeta Tau Alpha were partners for Homecoming fes- tivites. Of the 32 people who were detained, 23 were underage. One was a juvenile. Associate News Editor One Towson student was stabbed and another was attacked after leaving Towson Commons movie theater Monday night, following an argument that originated inside during a movie and later spilled out onto York Road. Two suspects are still at large. During a 10:05 p.m. showing of """"Serenity,"""" the two students asked two black males to stop talking and using their cell phones during the film. After the credits rolled, the argument continued in the common area of the theater. Then, while walking back toward the University, the victims were approached by the same two males from earlier in the evening. The suspects challenged the students to a fight. According to the police report, """"both males then pulled knives from their pockets and began slashing."""" The two students tried to back up to avoid the perpetrators. However, one victim tripped, fell backward, and was stabbed. """"Both suspects then fled northbound on York Road and westbound on Pennsylvania Avenue,"""" the police report stated. The 19-year-old student who was stabbed suffered a one and a half inch slash on his left arm and a three-inch slash on his left calf. The injured victim tried to block the knife with his left arm. The suspects were both described to police as African American males between the ages of 15- and 17-years-old. One suspect was approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, and the second was described as 5 feet 8 inches tall. Both men had short black hair. One suspect wore a blue hooded sweatshirt with a blue bandana and jeans, while the second suspect was seen wearing a white shirt, gray sweatshirt and blue jeans. Earlier that evening, at 9:12 p.m., a suspect carrying a handgun robbed the Kentucky Fried Chicken on York Road. According to the police report, a black male entered the establishment, pulled a handgun, then ordered the cashier to open the register. When the suspect demanded the safe be opened, the cashier informed him it was """"equipped with a time-lock device which cannot be defeated,"""" the report said. The cashier then opened the second drawer and handed the suspect its contents. The suspect was described as being between the ages of 20 and 30 years old, between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall, and between 125 and 130 pounds.
