Patrons attend a lesson in Argentine tango, with classes for both beginners and more advanced students. Then the instructors step back and an eight-piece orchestra takes over, giving couples the chance to put their skills to the test. Advance payment is recommend-ed, and the cost is $8 for Alliance members and $10 for non-members. Harbor Cruises has three evenings of Valentine Dinner Cruises beginning Feb. 14. Amy Taubenfeld, director of mar-keting, said the cruises include beer, wine and soda, hors d'oerves, din-ner, coffee, and a dessert bar. ""There will be a DJ for dancing,"" she said. ""We're suggesting reserva-tions."" Taubenfeld said Friday's cruise only has a few tickets remaining and Saturday is filling quickly, so stu-dents might want to consider mak-ing Sunday their evening of romance. To encourage this, Harbor Cruises is offering a $4 discount for the Feb. 16 cruise. The regular price is a steep $45.95 per person, but the beautiful backdrop of Charm City at night might be worth it.
