The Messenger For The SGA --- STUDENT GOVERNMENT ASSOCIATION TOWSON STATE UNIVERSITY VOL. 3, NUM.1 1982 - 83 WHO ARE THE SGA REPSt PRESIDENT-David R. Thomas is a senior double majoring in History and Business Administration with a concentration in Personnel. This will be the fourth year Dave has been involved in the SGA. He has served on the following committees: Academic Council, Academic Council Executive Committee, TSU Board of Visitors, Alcohol Concerns Committee, University Affairs Committee, Search Committees, Student Advisory Assembly and the Board of Higher Education. Dave has also served as senator and Vice-President for the SGA, as well as on the Academic Council. He is a member ofthe Rugby Club and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. As President, Dave promotes closer and more efficient working relationships with the organizations and David R. Thomas the college community. One of Dave's main concerns is to promote cultural awareness via events appealing to everyone such as this past Bradley J. Howatt September's first annual Ethnic Festival. Dave is a campus resident student from Rockville, Maryland. VICE-PRESIDENT- Bradley J. Howatt is a senior majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Personnel and Accounting. Brad became involved with the SGA three years ago beginning as representative for the Residence Food Committee and as Senator pro-tempore in 1981-82. Presently he serves as Vice-President of the SGA. Brad coordinated and promoted this year's Speaker Series and plans to assist the Director of Organizations in providing smoother operations for all SGA organizations. Brad is a resident student from Salisbury, Maryland.
