MERGER June 3, 1924 Telephone message from Dr» Vest 9:45 a. m. In the main. the morning paper correctly reports the action of the School authorities and the City Hall authorities, in¬ cluding the Mayor, concerning the merger of the Balti¬ more Teachers Training School with the Normal School at Towson. The special point that Dr. .Vest wished to take up is the invitations to the members of the Training School Staff to serve on the 1924-1925 Staff. He says that the best of the teachers are decidedly uneasy and that it will be his problem to place the teachers who are not to come. He thinks that even now you may know whom you are going to need, and can advise Mr. Cook* Dr« West will be in conference from 2:30 to 3:00, and will be in the building until 3:30 p. m*
