Golub will discuss attitudes toward menstruation, anthropologi cal research , problems of research, recent findings , and how language has influenced and refl ected attitudes toward menstruation . Dr . Golub is the author of Lifting The Curse of Menstruation, (Haworth Press, 1983), and editor of Women and Health . She is currently president of the Soci ety for Menstrual Cycle Research and was former chair of the American Psychology As sociation Ta sk Force on teaching the psychology of women. Dr . Golub is on campus as a consultant to the psychology workshop of the FIPSE funded project to i ntegrate the scholarship on women into the curriculum. Her lecture will also be available on tape in Cook Library and the FIPSE Grant office (Li 301 C). All faculty , staff, and students are invited to attend.
