Colquitt, President - Stude^y^Government Association WHEREAS, All Senate Committees will have the power to amend any bill, resolution, budget change bill, or finance bill sent to their committee in a committee meeting with a quorum. WHEREAS, All amendments must be made by a simple majority (50% of the vote) to be amended. WHEREAS, All bills that were sent to the committee must be sent to all the other Senators after a committee meeting before being voted on in the General Assembly meeting. WHEREAS, All amendments to the bill must be sent to GA to be voted on, as well for the amendments to stick in the amended document. If not passed, the document would go back to its original form and be voted on as it was written.
