RESOLUTION 2022-2023 #30 ) IN THE STUDENT SENATE OF TOWSON UNIVERSITY, MARCH 14th, 2023, A RESOLUTION CONCERNING THE APPOINTMENT OF SARAH ONUMONU TO THE STUDENT SENATE OF THE 102ND ADMINISTRATION OF THE STUDENT GOVERNMENT ASSOCIATION. Colquitt, President — Student Government Association WHEREAS, In Article I, Section 8, of the Student Government Association Constitution, it states that “The Senate Selection Committee shall interview all candidates. After interviewing candidates, the Vice President shall appoint the nominee(s) in order for the Student Senate to vote on the confirmation of the appointment.” WHEREAS, “A two-thirds [2/3] majority vote of the Student Senate must confirm the appointment. Should the Senate approve the nominee(s) to the Senate, they must immediately swear an oath. Sign the Code of Ethics, Code of Conduct, and assume office.” WHEREAS, Vice President Edwards, II has appointed the following individuals into the Student Senate. • Sarah Onumonu THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Student Senate approves the appointment of the above individual to the Legislative Branch of the 102nd Administration of the Towson University Student Government Association. )
