RESOLUTION 2021-2022 #11 IN THE STUDENT SENATE OF TOWSON UNIVERSITY, October 5th, 2021, A RESOLUTION CONCERNING THE APPOINTMENT OF ETHAN MADDOX TO THE STUDENT SENATE OF THE 101 ST ADMINISTRATION OF THE STUDENT GOVERNMENT ASSOCIATION. Jordan DeVeaux, President — Student Government Association WHEREAS, In Article I, Section 8, of the Student Government Association Constitution, it states that “The Senate Selection Committee shall interview all candidates. After interviewing candidates, the Vice President shall appoint the nominee(s) in order for the Student Senate to vote on the confirmation of the appointment.” WHEREAS, “A two-thirds [2/3] majority vote of the Student Senate must confirm the appointment. Should the Senate approve the nominee(s) to the Senate, they must immediately swear oath. Sign the Code of Ethics, Code of Conduct, and assume office.” WHEREAS, With the approval of the Senate Selection Committee, Vice President Trzaskawka has appointed the following individual into the Student Senate. • Ethan Maddox THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Student Senate approves the appointment of the above individuals to the Legislative Branch of the 101st Administration of the Towson University Student Government Association.
