STUDENT GOVERNMENT ASSOCIATION MEETING
The meeting was called to order at 4PM. The Minutes were approved.
PRESIDENT CAMERON;

* The most recent 'news flash' contains the accurate information. TSU has lost
940,000, etc.
* Town and Gown Committee meeting Wednesday, 9/25, 7:30, Towson Court House.
* National Teleconference on Job Interviews: 10/03, 7-8:30PM., Cook Library,
2nd Flr. in Teleconference Center.
* Board of Regents meeting: Friday, 9/27 at University of Balta. Contact President
Cameron or Vice-President Gobel if interested in attending.
* SGA Executives/TSTV President and Advisor met last week. Stated again, the
$34,900 allocated to TSTV must be spent for a low power station, not cable. The
Senate will have to reconsider if the money is not spent for the intended purpose.
* University Senate committees: if Senators do not_ volunteer for a committee
by 9/25 AM, students will be appointed to a committee by President Cameron.
TREASURER GODDARD:
* Letters to budgeted organizations forthcoming in reference to meetings before
the Budget Hearings; these meetings will aid in the smooth running of the Budget
Hearings.
DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS AND PUBLIC RELATIONS: Kevin Kintop
* Advertising Policy is being strictly enforced. Warning letters have been sent
to guilty groups.
* SGA Brochure has been temporarily put on hold due to other more pressing matters.
* Mini notes: When Senators receive a copy of the mini-notes, they may make
their own additions, sign and return to Director Kintop. If Senators have no additions,
sign and return to Director Kintop. Either way, please do it promptly.
* If any group would like to submit an ad to The Towerlight, it must be given
to Director Kintop by Thursday, 12N for the following week's edition.
DIRECTOR OF ORGANIZATIONAL ADVANCEMENT: Gayle Kaufman. Report given by Deputy
Director Rasmann.
* Judicial Board meeting: Wednesday, 9/25, 3:30PM, SGA office.
* Charter Renewals, SGA Liaison, Constitutions, authorization forms due by October
1st.
* ODK applications will be available 10/2 in Student Development office, Rm 313,
Union. Requirements include: junior/senior standing, 3.3 GPA, one full-time semester
at TSU.
* If Senators have not had a meeting with Director Kaufman yet, please do so.
CHAIR:
* A list of all organizational presidents and phone numbers is forthcoming.
Senators are to contact their groups, find out from the president when and where
their group meets, and attend their meetings.
