Ehrlich, Jr. (MD-2nd) with its “Taxpayer Hero” award in recognition of his consistent attention to responsible government spending. The award, given to a select group of Members of Congress, is based on his voting records on key legislation affecting government spending during the 105th Congress. Mr. Thomas Schatz, President of CAGW, a non-partisan, non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating waste, fraud, mismanagement and abuse in government, praised the recipients at a press conference today.
