Ehrlich, Jr. (MD-2) joined President George W. Bush at the White House today to honor this season’s Super Bowl Champion Baltimore Ravens. On January 28й1, the Ravens defeated the New York Giants 34-7 to win the NFL Championship. Congressman Ehrlich, who represents Baltimore County, stated, “President Bush recognizes a winner when he sees one. It was a privilege to join him in honoring the pride of Baltimore, our Super Bowl Champion Ravens.” Congressman Ehrlich presented President Bush with a Ravens Band jacket during the afternoon ceremony at the White House. In addition, the Ravens players and franchise owner Art Modell presented the President with an official player’s jersey. Congressman Ehrlich continued, “The Baltimore Ravens represented Maryland with dignity and class throughout the entire season, and I am confident that today’s White House visit will be the first of many for the Ravens franchise.” ###
