S. CHAMBER OF COMMERCE Congressman Robert L. Ehrlich, Jr. has received the 1997 Spirit of Enterprise Award from the U. S. Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber award — based on 16 key business votes cast in 1996 — is the culmination of America’s principal ranking of members of Congress on pro-business issues. “We are pleased to honor Rep. Ehrlich for consistently voting in support of policies that will create more jobs and strengthen the U. S. economy,” said Dr. Richard L. Lesher, U. S. Chamber president. Key votes included the line-item veto; health insurance reform; product-liability reform; tax relief for small business; and welfare reform. Congressman Ehrlich’s score was 94 percent for the 1996 session, and 91 percent for the 1 04th Congress. “I am very pleased that the U. S.
