It is good to know that young people such as you are interested in the issues that affect them. Over the past few months I have met with concerned Harford County residents regarding this issue, and am continuing to follow this matter closely. The Army has been most forthright in dealing with this issue. I am confident that the Army will keep its publicly-stated pledge to dispose of this material. Only the method of disposal is being debated. I believe that the Army should fully explore all potential methods of eliminating the mustard stockpile at APG before deciding upon any single course of action. Thanks again for writing.
