For your information, I have enclosed a list of the crimes that carry mandatory minimum sentences, including those mandatory sentences that are non-parolable . As you can see, we do have tough sentences already on the books. Also, the State is looking into alternative facilities for incarceration, including an expansion of the home detention program.
