The "demonstration", according to Dr. West, is Mr. Cameron's account of his life and of his training to fit him to be principal of a teacher¬ training institute. Miss Dowell told me that there was applause, and during Dr. Cameron's half-hour speech, the only time Dr. West joined in was when Dr. C. spoke of having the best schools possible in Baltimore City*
