MINUTES BUDGET HEARINGS Nov. 29, 1983 Meeting was called to order at 4:35. Sen. O'Shea moved to excuse Sen. Dubbert-sec. She was axcused. Organizations recognized today were: American Marketing Association, Biology Club and Black Student Union. Treasurer Ray read FAB recommendation for American Marketing Association. Total FAB recommendation was $628.16. Sen. DiPaula moved to divide question-sec. Vote was 7-5-0. Motion passes. Sen. O'Shea moved to allocate $100.00 to the activities account-sec. Sen. Schiffer moved to previous question-sec. Vote to accept FAB recommentation of $100.00 to the activities account was unanimous. Supplies account was discussed. Sen. Shabow moved to allocate $59.90 to the supplies account-sec. Sen. O'Shea moved to amend motion to allocate $100.00 to the supplies account-sec. Sen. Shabow moved to previous question-sec. Vote on amendment was 5-6-1. Motion fails. Senate went back into debate on original motion. Sen. O'Shea moved to previous question-sec. Vote to allocate $59.90 to the supplies account was 9-2-1. Equipment account was discussed. Sen. O'Shea moved to accept original request of $53.00-sec. Sen DiPaula moved to amend motion to allocate $25.00 to the equipment account-sec. Sen.
