OBTAINING CREDENTIALS
Media credentials are issued to accredited members of the media only.
Requests for credentials should be made via phone or e-mail to Rob Knox
in the Towson University Office of Athletics Media Relations.
Space on press row is very limited, so requests should be made no later
than 48 hours prior to game time. Should space become a problem,
preference will be given to the primary media outlets of each school and
then, to media who sent their requests earlier in the week.
Photographers must show their credentials in order to gain access to the
court area. All photographers are limited to the areas along the baseline
of the court but may not enter the team bench areas at any time.
Credentials may be picked up at the will call window at SECU Arena
beginning two hours prior to game time. In addition, they may be picked
up from the Office of Athletics Media Relations from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on
the day prior to the game.
RADIO BROADCAST INFORMATION
Broadcast positions for visiting radio stations are available on press row
of SECU Arena. Phone lines (POTS and ISDN) are also made available.
Stations wishing to broadcast a game should contact Rob Knox at least
two weeks prior to game day. Credential and parking requests for radio
staff should be submitted along with the request for phone lines.
MEDIA PARKING
Parking on gamedays will be available in Lot 21, located in front of the
Towson Center. Requests for parking passes should be made at the same
time as credential requests. If you do not make arrangements in advance
for parking, you will not be able to receive a parking pass for the game.
ROAD GAME REQUESTS
Local members of the media who wish to cover a Towson road
basketball game should contact the host school's sports information
director to obtain credentials.
INTERVIEW POLICIES
PRE-SEASON: Tiger basketball coaches and players are available for
interviews after each practice session. Visiting media must call ahead
to receive credentials to cover practice.
IN-SEASON: Due to time constraints, access to Tiger basketball
players is limited once the season starts. All player interviews must be
conducted by 7 p.m, the night prior to a game. All interviews should
be scheduled for post-practice time prior to 7 p.m.
Telephone interviews must be arranged through the Athletics Media
Relations Office. No player phone numbers will be made available.
Coach Pat Skerry will also be available everyTuesday during the season
for a 10 minute spot on the CAA conference call. All media members
are encouraged to call in. The time slot and call-in number will be made
available by Rob Knox upon request.
POST-GAME INTERVIEW POLICIES
Coach Pat Skerry and selected Tiger basketball players will be available
to the media after every game. The post-game interview room is
located on floor level of SECU Arena.
After a 10-minute cooling off period, the visiting teams head coach
and selected players will appear in the interview room. After the
visiting team finishes, Coach Pat Skerry and selected Tigers will appear
in the interview room. Requests for certain players should be made to
Rob Knox during the final media timeout of the second half. The locker
room is closed to the media post-game.

media member before each game. Quickie statistics will be provided
