Brooks Re:Statements on Academic Freedom and College Policy Date: Dec. 7, 1965 In its meeting of December 7, 1965, the Senate adopted one statement in answer to the resolution on speakers passed by the Maryland Legislature, and also a resolution regarding student participation in committee affairs, eg demonstrations. The resolutions are as follows: RESOLVED: That SGA in reaffirmine the rights of the individual as stated in the United States Constitution advocates a policy of free expression by any individ~al regardless of race, creed, color, or religion or political affiliations, past or current. - 1 -
