- Description
- Memorandum from Paul H. Gantt to General Telford Taylor with an update on the status of the Special Projects Division. Gantt reports that material on 197 war criminals has been transferred to the German Ministries of Denazification and Justice. He also reports that, at the time of the writing of the memorandum, there were only two presumptive war criminals being held in the Nurnburg [sic] jail by the Special Projects Division: Franz Rademacher, former Foreign Officie official who was "deeply involved in the final solution of the Jewish question," and Manfred Roeder, former People's Court Judge "who was also involved in the sentencing and execution of a former native of Michigan."
