FROM: Kathy Williams SUBJECT: Speaker Series This is to let you know that we have not receiver biographies on any of the speakers scheduled for the 1989-90 speaker series. Therefore, we have not begun to plan advertising or publicity for the series, as we discussed at our meeting on July 13. Since the first speaker is scheduled for September, it is important that we receive the information now, so that we can begin planning for publicity and advertising. We should be sending out a general release now, as well as arranging for ticket giveaways at various radio stations. In addition, you should allow for approximately one month turnaround time for the program. Aso, as you know, we plan to include an article and coupon for the series in Towson Today, the University's alumni magazine. The magazine is currently in typesetting and is scheduled to go to the printer in approximately one week. We will need the information for that article, as well.
