Judy Beris and I recently discussed the fact that this course, such an important part of our curriculum, has recently been cancelled twice, though it was successful earlier. We are considering changing the name. But this may not be enough. Considering the fact that there are no courses offered on women's health, through Health Science (because Renee Royak-Schaler is unable to free herself for this, from the demands of her department's other offerings on her time), nor on any other facet of the medical establishment vis a vis women, which this course addresses, could we try to put this course through as a G.U.R.? I know that you don't want to change the W.S. Program offerings while the Major Proposal is in process, but this wquld really be only an internal T.S.U. change, i.e. to ask that it be accepted for Group III, Interdisciplinary credit. Could we meet with you-- to discuss it further, if you want?
