Women's Studies September 20, 1979 Judy Markowitz and Barbara Fassler Annette Flower The following funds will be transferred into the Women's Studies account for support of your project as Coordinators for the National Association convention planning: Zeroxing costs $ 100.00 Printing costs through University Printing Center 500.00 Supplies 250.00 College Work Study (student workers) 900.00 In addition, to the extent that motor pool cars are available for your necessary local travel, you will be able to use them. It will not be possible for the university to underwrite any travel expenses requiring reimbursement (air travel, hotel and meal expenses, or mileage expenses). We are also unable to underwrite any of the costs of long-distance telephone calls or postage (whether bulk mail or first class). I suggest that you get an agreement from the National Association as to how they will reinburse those expenses, so that you are not left out of pocket for any length of time. You may, when necessary, use university telephones to make long-distance calls, but the university will have to be reimbursed. Similarly, if mail is processed through the university post office, it will have to be paid for, either at the time or by subsequent reimbursement. I can handle the telephone billing through our office, but arrangements concerning postage should be made through Gerald Smith, manager of telecommunications.
