The meeting was called to order at 4PM. Senator Robinson made a motion, seconded
by Senator Graybill to amend the Minutes to read the following: under the heading
Director of Communications and Public Relations, 3rd starred item should read 11 ••• Towerlight' .

Senator Douglas made a motion, seconded by Senator Graybill, to amend the Agenda
to include Senate Bill 1990-91 #30 - to support the Costa Rican Relief Fund.
PRESIDENT CAMERON
* Burkeshire Tour, 11AM, meet at the Burkeshire entrance: included are President
Cameron and Senators Graybill, Knarr, Ayers, Paquin, Jones.
* The list of University committees: names are needed by President Cameron by
the end of this week.
* Homecoming is the weekend of November 1-3. Senators are to encourage their groups
to participate.
* President Cameron appointed the following to the University Senate for the term
of September '91 until September '92.: Vice President Gobel, Senator May, Brent
Harris, Carlene Hawkins, and Sean Brohawn. Senator Paquin made a motion, seconded
by Senator Graybill to approve the presidential appointments. 10-0-2.
TREASURER GODDARD
* TSU TV station needs $35,000 grant to get started in September. Decisions will
have to be made by the Senate over the summer; if the Senate decides to support
TSU TV, a waiver will be needed whereby the group can receive funds before the probationary
period of 6 months. It is necessary for all Senators to leave their summer mailing
address with Mae if it's an address other than home.
* In reference to Senate Bill #30, Treasurer Goddard stated that to give to one
charitable fund would set a precedent for further requests from outside organizations;
a policy is needed for this type of allocation.
DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS AND PUBLIC RELATIONS: Kevin Kintop
* Illegal advertising letters for on/off campus advertising are ready for distribution
to appropriate groups.
* Recycling program: The ads are coming out this week. Flyers are in Kevin's office
for distribution to dorms.
* In Towerlight this week will be an ad soliciting students to submit their ideas
for a better TSU. Suggestion boxes will be located in the Rat, Rec Center, Post
Office, and Senate office.
DIRECTOR OF ORGANIZATIONAL ADVANCEMENT: Gayle Kaufman
* Corrected constitutions must be in by Friday, 5/10.
* Judicial Board meeting on Thursday, 5/09, 3:30PM, in SGA office.
* One of her goals is to incorporate individuals into campus life; groups are represented
on campus, but ideas are needed for individual participation. She will be working
with Senator Jones and Kevin. Kintop. If interested, contact Gayle.
