- Photograph of the construction of the original A.S. Cook Library. Albert S. Cook was the Superintendent of Schools (1920-1942) when the Maryland State Normal School became the Maryland State Teachers College. The original library building (now the Media Center) was named after him on September 19, 1957. A new library was built in 1968.
