Dear Sir: - I saw by the papers that the new State Normal School architect was to be selected in competition and if this be the case I should like to be one of the ap¬ plicants, that is, if the competition be conducted as approved by the Institute of Architects. I have designed and supervised a great many school buildings, the last being one at Notre Dame Col¬ lege, Charles Street, a strictly fireproof and up to date building; costing over a quarter of a million, and shall be pleased if you refer to the Superior- Sister Florentine. No doubt you are intimate with Mr. Robert Crain and I would be glad if you would get his opinion of me as an architect. lours faithfully,
