This review entailed an analysis of the proposal against the Commission's Policies and Procedures for Academic Program Proposals. Based on this review, it was determined that there is insufficient evidence to indicate a compelling regional or statewide need for this proposed program. On this basis, approval to offer this program must be denied. Unless the Commission receives a formal request to withdraw the proposal, the proposal will automatically be held i n susp.ension during the period of the Commission's program moratorium. At the conclusion of the moratorium, the Commission will place in review this proposal, thereby triggering a new 150-day statutory time-frame.
