Towson State College February 14, 1975 Kenneth Shaw Vice President and Academic Dean of the College [handwritten text illegible] Dear Dean Shaw: would like to recommend that the co-coordinators of the Women's Studies Committee be appointed on a rotating basis, i.e. one coordinator with experience in the job and one in the process of learning it. Next fall I would recommend that Elaine Hedges be the experienced coordinator and that the Women's Studies Committee select one other of its members as the co-coordinator. Subsequently the new member would become the experienced one who would in turn train a new one. This would provide continuity, distribute the responsibility, and avoid the dependence of the program on one or two people. With your approval, I will recommend this to the Committee at their meeting February 20. In any event, I resign as Co-coordinator of the Women's Studies Committee to become effective as of June 1, 1975. I appreciate the opportunity to have served in this capacity for the past several years. It has been a stimulating and rewarding experience.
