From the City Hall to the school, the time scheduled is three- quarters of an hour; from North and Greenmount Avenues, twenty-five minutes; from the end of the first carfare zone — Walker Arenue — to the school, the distance is 1 7/8 miles. It is probable that connoting students will be asslgnei to class sections as they were grouped last year in the Bal — feiraore Teachers Training School so that they may more con¬ veniently aoconmodate themselves to the street-car service at their disposal. Hith regard to the C03t of fares, we quote from a letter written June 27 by C. D. Emmons, President of the United Rail¬ ways and Electric Co. of Baltimore to Issao 3. Field. Presi¬ dent, Board of School Coranis si oners: "We desire to say to you that the United Railways will co-operate to the fullest extent in furnishing adequate and satisfactory service to the Normal School at Towson, and we will be prepared to put on such service as may be necessary to care for this riding, both in the morning and in the after¬ noon. "In view of the recent order of the Publio Service Com¬ mission, directing that a five-oent ticket for school chil¬ dren be put into use, and in view of the fact that pupils at the Normal 3chool are in training for public service in our City and State schools, we will extend the use of this ticket to bona-fide pupils in the Normal School at Towson.
