My dear Mr, Purdum :- I am very much obliged to you for your kind interest in the matter of deposits of the Nor¬ mal School Building Commission in the Harford National, National Marine, and the State Bank of Maryland. I very much appreciate what you have done for me in this matter, and I would particularly like it if you could defer reducing the deposits at the Har¬ ford National Bank until after January 1st, Money matters have been exceedingly tight in Harford, due to the low mar¬ ket of Canned goods for which Harford County is a great cen¬ ter.
