It is indeed in the interest of all of us that such information be distributed widely . Let me begin with a general reply to your questions (1,2,6) by saying that our entire continuing education progrnm, under the direction of our Evening and Summer Division, is available to all women on a parl-time basis and, with very few exceptions , all courses in the program carry credit applicable to a degree. Through our Evening and Summer program, students can pursue degree-granting programs in all majors offered in our day program. More specifically , however, there arc scvcrnl courses dealing with women now being offered and several more in lhe planning slages . The courses actually in existence are "Women in Literature," "Women in History," and "The Idea of Woman in Philosophy." Envisioned courses , which currently depend upon the approval of a grant proposal, are courses in lhe areas of art, sociology , psychology and modern languages. In addition to the actual and envisioned courses, a full-time position in the Evening and Summer Division has been designaled to handle the initiation, development and coordination of women's programs. Currenlly, in response to your specific questions (3,4), the persons directly respons ible for curricular . development is Dr. Donald Mulcahey, and the person in charge of advising students is Mr. John Bowen.
