Dear Miss Tall: In order to he sure that no misunderstanding has arisen between us I would like to record definitely щу understanding of the outcome of our conferences concerning the faculty of the Baltimore Teachers Training School. Such a perfectly clear understanding between us is the more necessary because It has fallen to ny lot to write the letters that give notice to those members of the staff who are not to be called to Towson. The faculty, according to your last sumning up of the matter, really falls from your point of view into three groups: the first group embracing the persons, eight in number, whom you will invite to become part of the enlarged State Normal School faculty; the second group embracing the persons, six in number, whom you definitely will not nominate for ad¬ ditions to your faculty; and the third group embracing the persons, three in number, concerning whom, up to Monday, June 9, you were still doubtful. The names of the persons constituting these three groups are as follows: Group I - to be called to Towson - Misses Hose M. Barry, Lelia Cobb, Clarice Evans, Anna D. Halberg, Helen M. Johnson, Grace W. Mink, Alta E. Thompson, and Winifred Weldin; Group II - not to be called to Towson- h, Dr. Cameron, the principal, and Misses Florence M. Layman, Edith Manning, . Bertha Schools, Iydia E. Spence, and Virginia Wightman; and Group III - concerning whom you are still doubtful - Misses Florence R. Bonn and ' / E. Grace Rice, and Mr. A. L. Terrell. This accounts for the whole number, seventeen, of present regular members of the theory staff of our Teachers Training School.
