Bear Sir: I beg: to acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 24th, advising that the Maryland State Normal School Building Commis¬ sion desires to open a savings account in our bank, with a deposit of #25,000.-, 1 note the sane is to be deposited with the understanding that said deposit shall boar interest at the rate of thrc*e per cent per annum, the same to be covered by a bond; sll ол which i3 accept¬ able to us. In accordance therewith I have written to Mr. J. Ar¬ thur Wickham, 219 St. Paul Street, Baltimore, for a bond, and as soon as received, it will be ry pleasure to hand the same to you, thereby securing the deposit.
