She will be appearing at the University of Maryland in early February, and we can "piggyback" on their invitation, for the very reasonable sum of $500. She would speak here February 7 or 10 or February 9 (evening). I am writing in the hope that you will consider cosponsoring Ms. Emecheta's appearance.
