In fact, the Women's Studies Program is celebrating both its 20th anniversary on our campus and its elevation to the status of a MAJOR. Yes, effective in September 1993, Women's Studies will offer a major, rather than a concentration (and will continue to offer a minor). In connection with the anniversary, the campus community is invited to attend a free performance by Ann Timmons of the one-woman show "off the Wall: The Life and Works of Charlotte Perkins Gilman" on Thursday, April 26 at 4:00 p.m. in Chesapeake Room I of the University Union.
