GETTING ACQUAINTED WITH YOUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Following is a list of the Tiger Club's Board of Directors who will serve for the
1975-76 academic year.
Bruno Barbieri is certainly a natural member for the Board of Directors of a club
that has its schools' athletes in mind. Two of his sons, Pete and Tom, played in Tiger
football uniforms. Barbieri is currently vice president of James T. Barnes, Inc., mortgage
bankers, of Washington and is very active in the Washington Touchdown Club.
Gordon Combs is also a name that should immediately be linked to Towson Athletics,
especially Towson football. Combs played on the Tiger grid team for two years, earning All-
State and Al I -Conference honors in his senior year. He is, in addition to his position as
the Tiger's defensive line coach, a physical education instructor at Glen Burnie Park

John DeNolfi is the general manager of the Dici Naz Velleggia Restaurant in Towson
where he works with co-Board member Naz Velleggia. DeNolfi has been very active in Tiger
Club functions over the years, and has chaired the Club Bull Roasts for the past three years.
He is also a long-time friend of Towson State athletics and has been a very active supporter
of a I I TSC activities.
Robert DiCicco is a prominent attorney in the firm of Askew, Wilson and DiCicco and
graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and University of Maryland Law School. DiCicco is
a former Baltimore County Assistant States Attorney. In addition to being an active TSC
supporter, he is also chairman of the Towson State College Board of Visitors.
Dr. Irvin I . Don i ck has been associated with athletics almost as long as anyone can
remember. Currently a Towson podiatrist and member of the American and Maryland Podiatry
Associations, Donick is the former podiatrist for the former Baltimore Bullets and the
professional soccer Baltimore Bays. Dr. Donick is a graduate of the University of Maryland,
where he was a top performer on their track squad.
Steve Feldman, a Towson State alumnus, is a product of the Tiger basketball squad where
he played guard for the 1971-72-73 seasons. A member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes
and Junior Achievement, Steve is a staff recruiter at the Maryland Casualty Company.
William L. Gaudreau is currently the vice president of Gaudreau, Inc., local architects,
planners, and engineers. Gaudreau is also an active member in the Civitan Club, a member of
the Advisory Board of St. Martin's Home for the Aged, a director of the Sherwood Forest Club,
and a member of the Baltimore County Chamber of Commerce. He is a graduate of the University
of Notre Dame, where he was a defensive back on the Fighting Irish grid team in the early
'50's.
Dr. James J . Hill, Jr., in addition to his other numerous interests and responsibilities,
is a member of the Towson State English department. He earned his degrees at Lehigh, Temple
and Texas and is the President of the Maryland State Colleges faculty senate.
