Description
Blue violet long dress with matching jacket.<br><br>Dress: Slightly raised waist. Bodice gathered under bust to waist seam creating fullness in bodice. Bodice front pleated under each breast to a high-waisted seam. Bodice front cut straight across at neckline and pleated horizontally to 1-1/2" - 2" straps. Straps attached to back in the center creating a "V." Skirt is cut fairly straight with deep blue silk velvet trim gathered to create a ruffle, and attached to hem. Self belt with snap fastening.<br><br>Jacket: Made of same fabric. Neckline cut straight across. Wide across the shoulders. Mid-thigh length in front, slightly longer in back. Flared, cap-like dolman sleeves. Back closing of covered buttons and loops (2 at center neck, then center back left open to waist seam, followed by 9 more of the same buttons and left open to hem). Deep blue silk velvet trim around sleeves and front neck edge.
