BSU demands list and action plan, 1970

On Wednesday, Feb. 25, 1970, the Black Student Union of Towson State College, presented Dr. James L. Fisher with the following demands: 1. Office facilities for the Black Student's Union 2. Equipment for publications-- typewriters, duplicating materials, dittos, paper, etc. 3. $5,000 to be placed into a private bank account for use of the Black Student's Union 4. Private mailing privileges. On Thrusday [sic], March 5, 1970, we received the following response from the president: that segregated facilities would not be tolerated for any group on this campus - we did not get the office facilities! - We did not get the publication supplies! - We did not get the money!
