Women's Studies: Oral Histories
These interviews were produced by the Towson University Retired Faculty Association (TURFA) as part of an ongoing project to document the stories of retired faculty from across the university's academic departments. The subjects of these two interviews, Annette Chappell and Jo-Ann Pilardi, were influential figures in the early years of Towson's Women's Studies department, and their stories provide insight into the creation of the department and the motivations of the faculty and students who participated in early Women's Studies courses.
