Women in Higher Education conference announcement, 1972

WOMEN IN HIGHER EDUCATION There will be a conference on Women in Higher Education to be held at Towson Saturday, November 4, from about 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. You will receive registration information soon. Elizabeth Janeway, authoress of Man's World Woman's Place, will be the keynote speaker. This is the first of a series of conferences to be held at different colleges and universities in Maryland throughout the academic year. The tentative schedule is as follows: December - Discrimination in Employment February - Women's Studies March - Continuing Education April - Women's Centers May - Child Care If you would like to participate in planning these conferences, please contact Judy Babbitts, Special Assistant to the President, Catonsville Community College. There will be a variety of publicity including radio interviews on WCAO. The first interview w/Judy Babbitts, Beverly Chico (BCC), and myself will be aired Sunday, September 17th at 9:30.
