Reisinger The Towerlight A resident student hosting a party in the Towson Run Apartments was. the victim of a second degree rape Sunday morning, Baltimore County Police Department officials said. According to the police report, the student was hosting a party in her apartment when one of the attendees who she did not know forcibly had vagi-nal intercourse with her. ""She went back into a bed-room away from the main party,"" Cpl. Vickie Warehime of Baltimore County Police said. ""He followed her back there and locked the door and that's where the rape occurred."" Warehime said the rape has been classified as second degree because it falls into the category of vaginal intercourse by force or threat of force, but did not involve a weapon, multiple assailants or threats of death. ""There was no mention of a weapon,"" she said. ""There was force, which makes it second degree, but for first degree rape you have to have a weapon, more than one person, or a threat of death."" .The suspect is described as a black male with brown eves and brown hair with large braids tied back, and %vas last seen wearing a light colored short-sleeve T-shirt with blue jeans, a white bandanna and a silver necklace. However, police do not know if the suspect was a student at Towson or not.
