- Label with description of accompanying photo. Description reads: "OMGUS Military Tribunal - Case 10. OMT-X-D-27. Sitting in the defendants dock are eight of the 12 governing members of Fried. Krupp, Essen who were arraigned with Alfried Krupp, the sole owner and director of the Krupp firm on November 17, 1947. They were charged with contributing financially to the Nazi party and criminally conspiring with Hitler in his aggressions. The defendants, left to right, are Alfried Krupp Von Bohlen Und Halbach (known as Alfried Krupp), sole owner and directing head of the Fried. Krupp, Essen; Ewald Oskar Ludwig Loeser, member of the Vorstad (managing body of the corporated Krupp prior to 1943) and head of the Administrative and Finance Departments until 1943; Eduard Houdremont, member of the Directorium (managing body of the unincorporated firm after 1943), and special commissioner for metal substitutes in the Reich Ministry for Armament and War Production; Erich Mueller, head of the Artillery designing, armaments advisor to Hitler and the War Ministry, and Chairman of the Weapons Development Committee of the Ministry for Armaments and War Production; Friedrich Wilhelm Janssen, member of the Krupp Directorium and successor to Ewald Loeser and head of the Administrative and Finance Departments; Karl Heinrich Pfirsch, deputy member of the Vorstand and Directorium and Deputy member to Ewald Loeser and Friedrich Janssen, concerned particularly with personnel and intelligence; Karl Eberhardt, deputy member of Krupp’s managing body and successor to Karl Pfirsch; Heinrich Korschan, trustee and administrator of Krupp wartime enterprises in Eastern and Southeastern Europe.”
