STUDENT GOVERNMENT ASSOCIATION MEETING

The meeting was called to order at 4PM. Senator Berman made a motion, seconded
by Senator Graybill to amend the Agenda to include Resolution 1991-92 #5 under
"Resolutions Introduced': Unanimous. The Minutes were approved.
PRESIDENT CAMERON:
* The petitions distributed to all SGA affiliated groups must be returned by
the next Senate meeting. To date, 11 testimonials have been received as a result
of Senator Douglas/Educator Club efforts. Additional testimonials are needed and
should be submitted to President Cameron by next Tuesday.
* Shaila Aery, Secretary of Education will be speaking in the Chesapeake Room,
on Monday, 10/21 at 4PM. Students are welcome to attend.
* As a participant on the Town and Gown Committee, President Cameron escorts
the TSU Police around the Towson area on Thursday nights in search of unruly parties
involving TSU students. Last Thursday night's effort was without incident.
* Senator Kathy Angel has resigned from the SGA Senate today.
TREASURER GODDARD:
* To expediate Financial Board Hearings, it is suggested that budgeted groups
meet with Treasurer Goddard before November 12th.
DIRECTOR OF COMMUNICATIONS & PUBLIC RELATIONS: Kevin Kintop
* The SGA Open House on 10/24, 12N-2PM requires all Senators to respond to Director
Kintop ASAP. Definitely not able to come are the following: Senators Paquin,
Graybill, Robinson, and Baroudy.
* The search for the positions of Assistant to Vice-President, Assistant to
Communications and Assistant to Student Life is in process. Interested students
should contact the SGA office.
DIRECTOR OF ORGANIZATIONAL ADVANCEMENT: Gayle Kaufman
* The following groups have not handed in their Charter Renewals: Accounting
