Women in Art and Literature Course Request Before taking any futher action on this request, the subcommittee has the following suggestions; 1. Improve the course (catalog) description of this proposed course to make clear the distinction between this proposed course and other Women's Studies courses in English and art, especially with the focus on a central problem in Women's Studies (see page 3 of your explanation). 2. Add to the prequisites either "at least one of which must be a course in art or literature designed for the Women's Studies Program" or perhaps better yet "and Women in Perspective"
