- Letter from Paul H. Gantt to Cecil F. Hubbard acknowledging receipt of a telegram dated July 8, 1948, regarding books borrowed from the Library of Congress in Gantt's name. Gantt indicates that the books were borrowed in his name by someone unknown to him, and that he has tracked down and returned one of the books. Gantt believes the other book had already been returned to the Library of Congress and requests that a check be made of their records to see if it has turned up. This document duplicates document 38 of this volume.
