- Charles Alan Henneman graduated from Towson State College in 1966 with a bachelor's degree in Social Studies and Secondary Education. Mr. Henneman taught History and Psychology in Baltimore County Public Schools for 19 years before retiring to manage full-time the Worthington Valley Swim Club (after purchasing it five years previous.) In 2008, he purchased a 228-acre camp in Monkton at which he has a field station in partnership with Towson University.
