- Black-and-white photograph of the installation of a nameplate reflecting the name change from Maryland State Normal School to Maryland State Teachers College at Towson. From left to right: Albert S. Cook (State Superindentent of Schools), Mary Hudson Scarborough (College instructor), Frank C. Purdom (Alumni officer), Lida Lee Tall (President of the College), and Ruth Parker Eason (Alumni President). Dr. Tall was named the sixth principal of the State Normal School at Towson in 1920. Her title was changed to President in 1935. Albert S. Cook served as the Superintendent of Schools from 1920 to 1942.
