Prof. cou: ter informed the committee of two probabl~. add1 t1ons to H1nirn'.:ster offerings: Darlene Kelly, Womer~ In sport; and Annette Flower. women In Renaissance Literature~ Prof~ Sheets suggested that we send the library list to all 1nte:~sted faculty and departmenisto help them keep informed on ~he available literature. some faculty complain that the ma:.er1al f,Jr teaching women1 a courses 1a not avrti-lable; perhaps t~e library list will suggest otherwiseo The poss1b111 ty of offering the Maz•yland Commissi ·:m course "Woman In Perspective" was discussed, and it was cec1ded that we should first determine whether Notre Dame· or any other area school was also planning to offer it and thus dilute our audiencep If this was not the case, Prof. Coulter would ask two members of the committee to begin investigating arrangem·ents fo.t' offering the course next spr•ing, especially the necessi-ties 01' our curriculum procedures and the selection of speakers~ After some discussion of how best to proceed with ·the d.iploma'tic problem of suggesting revision of regular courses, 1 t ·was decided that we could at least begin by drawing up a 11st of courses to wh1oh such revision would be relevant~ Prof. Sheets and Dro Mulcahey volunteered to do this. In view of .Dean cox's prediction of the demand for women 1s studies courses in the E~ening College, Dr. ~ulcahey was asked to keep us informed of developments there and in the summer school. 2) Publicity: The committee approved the three kinds of publicity suggested in the agenda and decided that the responsibility for Towerlight articles should be rotated among the Committee members according to need and o1rcumstance but that we should def1n1tely have a good article in the first. issue in the fall; J''rof., Rivers
